LIFE APPLICATION BIBLE SEMINAR

TRINIDAD REPORT SEPT 2006

We are rejoicing in the Lord for the privilege of proclaiming His Word in Trinidad through the Life Application Bible Seminar in spite of two earthquakes and a bomb scare.

The hunger for God's Word in this beautiful country was great indeed. 400 wonderful brothers and sisters attended the four evening seminar, including pastors, teachers, and

youth leaders. Pastor Ray Hosein and Bishop SatnarineBalhadoor, South Trinidad District of Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (P.A.W.I.), organized and coordinated the event. It was held in the city of San Fernando. Pastors Norma and Lloyd Hart welcomed us to Revivaltime Assembly. The church, a large facility with a seating capacity of 800, was perfect for our gathering. Special thanks to Rev. Peter and Mrs. Angela Giradee for their invaluable help in registration and coordination of the church facilities.

After the seminar was completed the work continued. As the word spread about the Life Application Bible and Seminar we were able to share seed bibles with many who were previously unfamiliar with this study tool including: Kevin and Sue Prins, Directors of Youth With A Mission (YWAM); several Teen Challenge ministers, including Ian Jugmohan, Center Manager Teen Challenge, Sangre Grande; Pastor Nelson Sammi, Evangelist and program Director for a local TV station; Pastor Pat Glasgow, P.A.W.I. Director of the northern region of Trinidad. Life Application Bibles were also given for distribution to a missionary in Venezuela and on the island of Tobago in preparation for future seminars to be held there. Contact was made with Pastor Freddy Nicholls of Barbados.

The brothers and sisters of Trinidad/Tobago welcomed us with open arms, hugs, hospitality and true Christian love. This was our experience everywhere and we anxiously look forward to returning with more Life Application Bibles. We ask God's richest blessings be upon these two beautiful islands.
